Competency management

SkillsXP is a complete competency-management solution. The following tasks can be performed:

• Define required competences per role / task;
• Perform assessment tests;
• Perform job-gap analysis;
• Create Personal Action Plans per employee;

Lists of Roles, Tasks and Competencies are setup centrally. Additional local requirements can be locally defined and added to the lists of Roles & Tasks. SkillsXP can be supplied with standard sets of competencies in various areas:

• Operational – based on industry standards (IMCA, IADC);
• HSE;
• Human Factors.

Assessments

All personnel in the system can be assessed according to either industry standards or company specific standards. (see Competencies)

After the assessment, actions can be assigned for those areas of the assessment that were not according to standards yet. A motivation to support the rating can be added, explaining the score. It is also possible to define preferred training to be followed if a specific person is not competent yet.

Self assessments

SkillsXP is the best product on the market which lets personnel do self assessments. Assessments can be reviewed and approved by several managers.

Search for competent personnel

After filling out all competencies per employees, this enables you to search for competent personnel in your employee database.
Search on the criteria:

• Qualification;
• Performed roles / jobs;
• Experience with equipment;
• Experience with software;
• Performed projects.
