About
The Tritanium Company started as the IT-department of Nutec (later called Falck Nutec), a worldwide network of Maritime Training Centers. Upon request of the training centers, a system for training- and certification management was developed – this was the beginning of SkillsXP.
Driven by changes in the market of Offshore, Oil & Gas, the competency management feature was added to the software shortly after the first release. This made the software useful to other companies as well.
Due to our roots in regulated industries - such as the maritime sector, offshore and petrochemical industry - together with our extensive development experience, our solutions match the needs of our customers. Our objective is to offer software and services which help our clients ensure that the job is carried out by personnel with the right and verified competences.
In the meantime we have become the preferred supplier for numerous companies and public services which have specialist requirements in the area of safety and competence of their personnel. Companies like Rolls Royce, Stork, Atwood, Hertel, AJS, Fugro, Petro-Canada and Pride have already discovered the value of the system and incorporated it in their every day business process tools.
Since 2000 The Tritanium Company (TTC) is no longer just an IT department. TTC is now a highly valuable member of Global Competence BV, independently providing services & solutions to all kinds of organizations in the so called hazardous industries, operating from their offices in Leiden (NL).
The Tritanium Company is a Microsoft Partner.
