Pacific Drilling is a privately-held growing global company positioned to become the largest pure-play ultra-deepwater drillship operator in the world. Pacific Drilling is part of a global, multi-billion dollar group of companies which collectively operate over 400 vessels in a range of specialized marine and offshore segments. Their fleet of six of the newest ultra-deepwater drillships is expected to be in operation by end of 2011.

Pacific Drilling uses SkillsXP to design their competence framework and crew hire schedule from scratch. As soon as the ships are operational, SkillsXP will be used to keep track of regulatory compliance and competences of the crew.
